On September 24 and 25, 2025, QuantumNet participated in the Q2B Paris conference, a landmark event for the quantum technology sector in Europe. Organized by QC Ware in collaboration with main partners Quandela and NQSTI, the event took place at the Cité des Sciences et de l’Industrie, in the heart of the La Villette district.
Q2B Paris brought together over 500 attendees and more than 70 speakers from around the world to explore innovations, evaluate technologies, and unlock business value in the evolving quantum ecosystem. The central theme of the 2025 edition was “The Roadmap to Quantum Value,” with a specific focus on the European ecosystem and its geopolitical and technological challenges.
The conference covered six fundamental thematic areas:
- Quantum Computing: development of quantum computers and advanced algorithms.
- Quantum AI: integration of artificial intelligence with quantum technologies.
- Quantum Communications & Security: securing communications through quantum technologies.
- Quantum Sensing & Timing: sensors and timing systems based on quantum principles.
- Quantum Error Correction: strategies for error correction in quantum computers.
- Quantum On-Premises: implementation of quantum solutions within corporate environments.
QuantumNet participated in the conference with a station within the NQSTI booth, as the winner of the cascading call for proposals aimed at granting funding for activities consistent with NQSTI, leveraging resources from the PNRR (National Recovery and Resilience Plan), funded by Next Generation EU.
Alfredo Massa, an employee of the Neapolitan start-up and a PhD student in Computational Intelligence at the University of Naples Federico II, presented the reality of QuantumNet during one of the plenary sessions, focusing on its main active projects and the company’s mission. This mission involves both applied research into real-world quantum computing use cases and the training of new professional figures capable of bringing this innovative technology and so-called “quantum readiness” into businesses.
The conference also received significant media attention in Italy with an article in “Il Mattino” titled “QUANTUM CHALLENGE, NAPLES CAPITAL.” In this in-depth report, journalist Mariagiovanna Capone interviewed representatives of two Neapolitan start-ups, QuantumNet and Photon Technology, which are distinguishing themselves through innovation and expertise, highlighting how Campania currently represents a fertile and favorable region for innovation in the Quantum Technologies sector.
