In the presence of His Majesty King Frederik X of Denmark, the 2025 edition of the European Quantum Technologies Conference (EQTC), the main European conference dedicated to quantum technologies, opened in Copenhagen.
The event, hosted by the University of Copenhagen and co-organized by the European Commission as part of the Danish Presidency of the Council of the European Union, brought together key representatives from academia, industry, and institutions to outline the future of the European quantum ecosystem.

QuantumNet and the NQSTI consortium
QuantumNet,our startup, participated in the initiative as a partner of the NQSTI (National Quantum Science and Technology Institute), consortium, having been awarded the European call for proposals dedicated to quantum technologies.
This participation confirms QuantumNet’s strategic role in the research and innovation landscape and demonstrates our (NetCom’s) ability to contribute concretely to the development of advanced skills and technologies in the quantum sector.
Within the NQSTI consortium, QuantumNet is engaged in the development and integration of quantum hardware and software solutions, collaborating with academic and industrial partners to accelerate technology transfer and foster the emergence of new applications in the field of quantum computing and communications.
EQTC 2025, the heart of European quantum
The EQTC represents the main meeting point for the European quantum community, with the aim of:
-
Strengthening connections among research, industry, and policy-makers;
-
Showcasing European excellence in quantum science and technologies;
-
Promoting dialogue between institutions and businesses to accelerate the adoption and standardization of emerging solutions.
This year, the conference holds a particular symbolic value, as it is set within the context of the recent Quantum Europe Strategy and the preparation of the EU Quantum Act, marking a key moment for defining continental policies on the subject.
QuantumNet’s participation in EQTC 2025 was also recognized by the national press: the Corriere del Mezzogiorno (Corriere della Sera) dedicated an article to the company’s presence in Copenhagen, highlighting the Italian contribution within the NQSTI consortium and the Netcom Group’s role in the growth of the European quantum ecosystem.
QuantumNet’s participation in EQTC 2025 represents a further step forward in the group’s strategy to position itself as a key player in the European digital and quantum transformation, contributing to the growth of a competitive and sustainable technological ecosystem.
