NetCom Group at I-CiTies 2025

i‑CiTies 2025, the 11th Italian Conference on ICT for Smart Cities & Communities, concluded with great enthusiasm. It took place from September 17 to 19 at the Aragonese-Angevine Castle in Gaeta (LT).

I-CiTies is the national laboratory where academia and industry meet to discuss innovative solutions and active research projects related to smart cities.

A city can be defined as “smart” when it is capable of offering services that take into account the real and priority needs of people, so that these services support the achievement of the city’s specific objectives. Solutions must be multidisciplinary, integrating technical aspects along with sociocultural ones. It is precisely in this context that ICT (Information and Communications Technology) becomes the means to transition from problems to digital solutions.

NetCom participated in the round table on “Bridging Innovation and Impact: the Role of Industry in Shaping Smart Cities,” featuring a presentation by Eng. Enrico Landolfi.

The objective of the C-Mobility Borgo 4.0 Project was to develop and test innovative solutions for connected and cooperative mobility in a real urban and road context, with applications dedicated to safety, monitoring, and intelligent driving.
