Connectivity system for the interconnection between vehicles and Smart Roads.
The system is based on a device called Multichannel Bridge, which enables the interconnection between vehicles and smart roads and includes a device with On Board Unit (OBU) and Road Side Unit (RSU) characteristics, aimed at connecting vehicles and elements characterizing the road infrastructure (eg traffic lights, public lighting poles, signs). Both declinations involve the use of communication paradigms characteristic of the Internet of Things (IoT). In particular, the device is able to sort information packets using multiple communication channels, including:
